Independence, Oregon Painting Company
A house doesn’t need new floors or a kitchen remodel to feel different — sometimes new paint on the walls and trim is enough to make the whole place feel like it’s been taken care of. That’s the job we do in Independence: interior and exterior painting for homes, rentals, and commercial buildings.
Common reasons people call us
- The interior hasn’t been painted since it was built
- A rental needs to be ready for a new tenant, and fast
- Exterior paint is fading, chipping, or peeling
- A remodel or renovation needs paint as one of the final steps
- Cabinets look dated but the layout still works fine
Whatever the reason, the approach is the same: figure out what the surfaces actually need, prep accordingly, and paint for a finish that holds up rather than one that just looks fine on day one.
Not every job needs a full repaint
Sometimes a wall just has a few scuffs or a door has some chipped edges, and a full repaint would be overkill. We’ll tell you honestly whether targeted touch-ups will do the job or whether the wear is bad enough that a complete repaint makes more sense. We’d rather give you an accurate answer than the more expensive one.
What “prep right” actually looks like on site
Depending on the surface, that can mean scraping old, failing paint; sanding rough or glossy areas so new paint has something to grip; patching holes, cracks, and dents; caulking gaps around trim and windows; masking off floors, fixtures, and anything else nearby; and priming bare wood, stains, or repaired patches before color goes on. It’s more steps than people expect, and it’s the reason the finished paint job actually lasts.
